Sea level rise is one of the most tangible impacts of a changing climate. However, the large uncertainties in projections of future sea-level make an assessment of and management to those impacts particularly difficult. The greatest source of uncertainty in sea level projects is the contribution of continental ice sheets. In this webinar, the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment brings together experts on the theory, modeling, and observation of ice sheet to discuss the progress, prospects, and path forward in reducing those uncertainties in the context of climate assessment, adaptation, and policy.
